According to his father Klay Thompson will be ready to go full speed again next season.
Last summer, in game 6 of last season´s NBA finals the 30-year old five-time All-Star tore his left ACL, but now he doesn’t limp or have any kind of soreness anymore, his dad explains in a radio appearance.
Klay now has to rehab on his own due to the league´s lockdown because of the coronavirus global pandemic.
In the radio Klay Thompson’s father, Mychal, says that Klay is “feeling good. He´s working out on his own. He´s doing all his drills and he says he feels good.” He adds that “[Klay] says he´s feeling great and he´ll be ready to go full speed next year”. But unfortunately, at the moment no one really knows when next year will be. Coach Steve Kerr told Tim Kawakami a few weeks ago that Klay is going to be so ready to play and so excited and explains that rehab is going along well. He has no doubt that – “assuming everything starts as it usually does – Klay and Steph will be in great shape and ready to roll”.
