After a virtual tournament on NBA2K the NBA is working on a new competition to keep their supporters entertained during the corona crisis.
According to an ESPN report the NBA is carrying out a H-O-R-S-E competition which is supposed to be broadcasted over the TV channel ESPN in the USA. Pro athletes are supposed to take part in this competition that consists of imitating the previous players actions such as spectacular half-court shots.
From 2008-2010 H-O-R-S-E was part of the NBA All-Star Weekends.
Now the H-O-R-S-E competition is planned to take place at each players house. The NBA would like to play the game with every player playing on their own hoops at home. Because of the restrictions resulting from the corona pandemic a game with multiple players on one court isn’t possible.
